A huge thank you once again to Anto White for his assistance on Saturday. Thanks to his efforts, we now have a larger group of accredited umpires in Victoria—fantastic news for our sport. Over the course of this weekend, we will also be welcoming some newly accredited coaches, which is equally exciting.
We will have the food van in attendance on Sunday, and presentations will take place after the conclusion of the final match. EPC has organised some great prizes, and in addition we are pleased to offer the following:
• EQ Saddlery Grooms Prize – A $50 EQ Saddlery voucher will be awarded. Thank you to EQ for recognising the incredible work of our grooms and rewarding them each week. Be sure to visit EQ Saddlery to check out their extensive range.
• OTT Points – OTT points are up for grabs across all four finals. We are now over halfway to the Urquhart Cup Finals, where season champions in each grade will be crowned based on accumulated points. Please ensure you advise the umpire during Sunday’s finals if you are riding an OTT horse.
• NEW Award – MVP (-2 to -1) – We are excited to introduce a new weekly award, generously sponsored by a member of the Victorian Polo community. Each week for the remainder of the season, the MVP from the -2 to -1 handicap range (across any grade) will receive either a Village Cinemas Gold Class double pass or $100 cash.
It’s fantastic to see so many prizes recognising our players, grooms, and ponies each week.
