Polo this week
29 Jan 2021
Dear Polo Community,
Unfortunately, because of the heavy rain this weekend the Yaloak Tournament has been called off. Werribee has also had significant rain of 42mm in 3 hours.
Due to COVID it has already been a rocky start to the season, Melbourne City would like to run a 1-day tournament this Wednesday afternoon with the aim to assist the professionals and Yaloak Polo Club to cover off some losses. We hope that some of those teams from the weekend will carry their entry forward to this Wednesday, with chukker fees already paid going to Yaloak.
There will be a FREE BBQ on the night, prizes, and a few beers to cool off afterwards! We look forward to seeing as many people playing as possible. Nicola will prepare a portal ASAP for nominations which will be found on the VPA website as per usual, nominations will close noon on Monday so plenty of time to get your noms in over the weekend
A reminder that nominations for the VPA Ladies Championships at Mingela close on Friday 5th February.
