Welcome to the 2021 Yarra Valley Flowerfield Cup Tournament.
Unfortunately due to the spring rain quantity we have received, the difficult decision has been made by the committee to relocate this tournament, out of the Yarra Valley. With thanks to Melbourne City Polo Club we are pleased to offer two exciting days of polo at the beautiful Chirnside Polo Field.
We are very pleased to offer
8-10 goal - 5 chukkas - strictly limited to 4 teams.
4 Goal - 4 Chukkas - strictly limited to 4 teams.
0-2 Goal - 4 chukkas - strictly limited to 4 teams.
Therefore we are limiting polo to 6 games per day on the field. The first game will commence at 9.30am sharp with the last game scheduled to commence at 3.30pm. Your efforts to play, umpire, do your duty on time will be greatly appreciated.
Nominations will be accepted strictly on a first come first serve basis. All nominations must be accompanied by FULL payment, in order to be accepted. Members of ALL clubs must nominate through the portal. Members of Vallex Polo Club and Yarra Valley Polo Club please nominate through the members section. All other clubs will pay full chukka fees at $40 p chukka.
We have lots of exciting prizes on offer: awards for all winners, MVP and Best Playing Pony in all divisions. We are also proudly sponsored by Off The Track and a OTT Best playing pony rug will be awarded in each division. Only OTT horses registered in the OTT community are eligible to win these gorgeous rugs. For more information on the OTT community please visit https://www.ottcommunity.com.au/
Nominations for this tournament close at 8pm on Wednesday 10th November. All enquries regarding nominations and the draw to secretary@vicpolo.com.au. The draw will be posted on the VPA website on Thursday lunchtime.
Due to a large event at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre there will be limited horse overnight accomodation available. Please request your yards by messaging 0419 224286 with numbers and we will do our best to accomodate you.
