2026/2027 Victorian Polo Season Calendar

23 Aug 2026

Dear Members,

We are delighted to welcome you to the opening of the Victorian polo season.

The season will commence with the Melbourne Cup Tournament, and we hope it receives strong support from members and teams across the state. This important event will set the tone for the season ahead, and we look forward to seeing plenty of participation both on and off the field.

The season calendar is now on the VPA website. All clubs are excited to host players and teams throughout the season, and we encourage everyone to support the tournaments wherever possible. Strong participation is essential to the success of each event, the continued development of the sport, and the long-term sustainability of polo in Victoria.

With the Melbourne Cup Tournament, this season we will be offering 12-goal and 6-goal competitions, as well as the return of the 2-goal division by popular demand following the positive feedback received last year.

The VPA is also excited to welcome Hexham Polo Club back to Werribee. We encourage everyone to support the club and this initiative, which is important to securing the long-term future of the fields. We look forward to enjoying more of Hexham’s hospitality and welcoming them back for what promises to be a fantastic season.

The VPA is also working on several exciting initiatives, so please watch this space for further updates.

As an association, we remain focused on growing the sport, attracting new players, improving our tournaments and playing experiences, and ensuring we enjoy a successful and memorable season together.

We look forward to seeing you at the Melbourne Cup and throughout the season.

Kind regards,
Amber Drum
Victorian Polo Association
