Melbourne City Polo Club memberships for 2022/23 Season are now live.

Memberships for the 2022/23 season are now active.

Full Club Membership - $3000 (for primary MCPC Members (select MCPC when paying APF and VPA))

(excludes VPA & APF fees)

A full MCP club membership includes tournament chukker fees for normal weekend tournaments and mid week practice chukkers. This membership also provides opportunity, subject to bookings, to stick and ball on the club’s home fields. There are a number of prestigious events that will be held at Melbourne City Polo this year. Nominations and entries for these tournaments, such as the Melbourne Polo Cup, will be offered separately to this membership. 

 

The Urquhart Cup tournament fees will beincluded in this year in the full fee-paying membership

 

1 Goal Membership - $1250 excludes APF & VPA

 

If you are 1 Goals and bring a full fee primary member patron, you can join under the pro membership structure. You must nominate who you are joining up, and both must be a “primary” Melbourne City Member.

 

First Year Member (Primary MCPC Member) $2000 excludes APF & VPA

 

If you are a first year Melbourne City Polo Club Member, this one is for you, receive all of the full fee paying benefits including tournament entry into the Urquhart Cup. You must be a primary member, meaning you select Melbourne City when you pay your APF and VPA

 

Junior Membership - $1000

(excludes VPA & APF fees)

The Junior membership is for budding junior polo players. A player is considered a junior when they are 18 years of age or younger. A junior changes to an adult member in the year they turn 19.The Junior Membership includes chukker fees for all normal tournament weekends, and mid-week chukkers.

 

Chukker Membership - $2000

(excludes VPA & APF fees)

A chukker membership includes all mid-week chukker ground fees & is designed for people who are only wanting to play a few games throughout the year. A chukker membership will allow participation in a maximum of 3 weekend tournaments however requires payment of tournament chukka fees.  If a player wishes to play more than 3 weekend tournaments, they may upgrade to a full membership.

 

Professional Membership - $1250

(excludes VPA & APF fees)

A professional membership includes all chukker fees for normal weekend tournaments and mid week practice chukkers. This membership also provides opportunity, subject to bookings, to stick and ball on the clubs fields. There are a number of prestigious events that will be held at Melbourne City Polo this year. Nominations and entries for these tournaments, such as the Melbourne Polo Cup and the Urquhart Cup will be offered separately to this membership. 

 

A player is considered professional if they make a full time living from playing polo regardless of handicap. Example:

  1. If a player works for a professional polo provider and a patron is paying for their services, via chukker fees, this is considered professional
  2. If a player owns a professional polo company, but makes their living via providing lessons and renting horses, they are not considered a professional player.

Professionals must have the approval of the committee to join this membership. Melbourne City Polo will consider all applications on their merits.
