Horses staying at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre

Here are some housekeeping points to note if you are keeping your horses at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre (WPNEC), for the Melbourne cup Polo 2024 Tournament.

Please note: Tuesday is a holiday in Victoria with the Melbourne Cup Races and the WPNEC office will be closed.

* Please touch base with the Equestrian Centre directly RE: Stable bookings. (03) 9741 7672

* Yards - Any of the empty yards at the equestrian centre are available for use. Preferably please use yards on the right hand side of the driveway.
Please note that from Thursday 14th onwards any horses in yards on the Left hand side of the driveway as you drive in (The general purpose area) will need to be moved to yards on the Right hand side of the driveway by 12pm, with the yards left clean. There is a competition taking place on the general purpose area over that weekend.

* There will be several areas available for the exercising of polo horses. The General purpose area will be roped off, please refrain from exercising inside of the roped area. The outside of the polo fields will be available outside of games and irrigation. The Civinex paddock will be available on some days - schedule for this TBA. For schooling please use the triangle grass patch next to the rose garden fence line next to the general purpose area and also the area between field 3 and the zoo road. (Field 2 is next to the club house and field 3 next to the zoo road).

* Dogs - All dogs at the equestrian centre are to remain on leads. Please note that the Civinex paddock and Chirnside polo field are no dog areas.
