Melbourne City Polo Club is staging a demonstration polo match for Cambridge University Press, to be held on Thursday, the 25thof March @ 5.30pm sharp. The club is now calling for expressions of interest to participate in the match.
The demonstration match will run as a normal game including umpires and game match wear for players and ponies. However, held on Thursday, the match will be in lieu of normal Wednesday chukkers.
The teams will be Melbourne City White V Melbourne City Green and all players will be required to wear club jerseys. All Melbourne City Polo Club members receive jerseys as part of their membership and will be presented with them on the day if they have not yet received them. Those who do not have a jersey can purchase one from the club for $40 prior to the match.
Cambridge University Press has requested that players head over to the pavilion between chukkers to engage with the attendees and provide them with insights into the sport.
