The tournament committee reserves the right to combine grades where necessary or modify the handicap limit.
From the 1st January 2023 it is compulsory for ALL players to have passed their umpire test before taking to the field. The test takes around 30 minutes to complete and is accessed via the VPA website. If you require any assistance please let me know. This initial test, is an open book learning exercise designed to improve your knowledge of the rules, you can fail the test and retake it immediately as many times as necessary. YOU MUST HAVE PASSED THIS TEST BEFORE FRIDAY 4PM TO PLAY THIS WEEKEND.
PLEASE NOTE: NEW NOMINATION CLOSE: Nominations for this weekend will close STRICTLY at 4pm on Wednesday 18th Jan 2023. The draw will then be posted on the VPA website. The VPA Board are enforcing a strict no pay, no play policy. You must nominate and pay by 4pm on Wednesdays.
We are not using paid goal judges or time keepers for this tournament. There is an option to “opt” out of duties for the tournament for $100. Please SELECT the tick box when nominating for your polo.
I will be on site both days to assist in the running of the day. This tournament sees the first of our Racing Victoria Off the Track rugs being awarded for 4 grades. There are strict rules regarding how these will be awarded. Further information to follow from the VPA, but I will have a list of horses registered with the OTT playing community. If you have not registered your OTT by Friday 9am (previous registrations still valid) then you will NOT be eligible to win a rug.
