The Australian Polo Federation has received an invitation from the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association - see below.
- We are invited to send a team to compete in the Manipur Polo International.
- The tournament is played on Manipuri Ponies (12 to 13 hands) under Indian Polo Association Rules (same as FIP rules) with teams around 8 to 9 goals.
- Travel costs to India will be at the players/teams own expense, thereafter all expenditures of the team till their departure will be borne by the Manipur Horse Riding & Polo Association.
- If you have a team (5 players + coach) and you'd like to travel and compete, please let Suzie at APF know and we'll inform Manipur.

Manipur Polo International is held every year. It is an invitational Tournament. It is organized by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association every.
The Tournament was not organized since 2020 because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. This year, the Tournament will be held from November 22 to 29.
This is to extend an invitation to the Australian Team. The Australian Team won the Champion Trophy in 2016.
The team has to reach Imphal on 20th or 21st November.
Once the Team reaches Imphal, we will take care of the costs for food, stay and transport during the tournament or from the date of arrival till departure from Imphal.
Would be glad to have The Australian Team again for the Tournament.
